Welcome to iTestify!

The reports below have been posted by members and friends of GWC who have benefited from the ministry here. Do you have a report of something great God has done for you through Glorious Way Church? We want to know! Please log into myGWC today and tell us your story.

My niece is staying with us for a few weeks while her mother deals with the loss of her mom. My niece is 8 years old and being raised a Catholic. She attended children's church Sunday morning and evening.

I asked her how she liked it and she excitedly proclaimed, "I loved it because they taught me the Bible. They don't do that at my church."

Wow!

I looked over her class material and saw they were learing about Revelation 21 and 22. That is awesome.

Thanks to all the children's teachers for doing such a wonderful job in not babysitting but teaching are kids the Bible!

Hello Family!!

In a nutshell, about 4 weeks ago or so, we had rearranged our living room area (sofas, etc) and I (Frank) had still been acquainting myself with our new setup. I had gone to make myself comfortable and the sofa was moved closer to our living room/kitchen wall, in which a portion of the countertop is exposed into our living room. As you can see, I sat down with all my momentum going back & BAM!!!! I popped the back of my head really good and our 4 year old (at the the time) now 5, Elisha, was sitting next to me & witnessed the accident.

Instead of running to get help or call his momma, he saw that I was in pain on the floor, removed my hands from myself holding the back of my head, and said in Spanish, "Daddy, I'm going to pray for you!" I obeyed him and allowede the Lord to have his way through our son. Elisha laid his hands on me and said, "Thank you Lord for my daddy and all that hurts had to leave in the name of Jesus....Amen!" Upon his prayer, I was there with my eyes closed and Elisha there staring, said,"Daddy, open your eyes....you are healed!" The Lord spoke to me and said, "Frank walk your faith out as you have shown your son and agree with him now because when 2 or 3 gather in my name, THERE I am!" I got up with no pain and to this day....still no pain, dizziness, nor even headaches!!! We thank God for being in a house where we have a Pastor, family, and staff that love to ONLY flow how the spirit wills! We LOVE YA'LL so much!!

Grace & peace,

Many times it is so difficult to be a Christian and be a social worker because of the humanist ideology. While in the UH graduate school of social work, I almost quit because of the conflict between my Christian values and what was taught, ie to advocate for minorities (not a problem) but included homosexuals, approving of their lifestyle, etc. Christianity was rediculed, feminist beliefs of the oppression of women was glorified, alternative lifestyles validated as acceptable, ie. cross dressing, transgender reidentification, gay and lesbian marriages should be legalized, same gender household (two mother or two fathers) should be able to adopt, and planned parenthood and abortion is the approved method, on and on, and if your papers or test did not reflect this as being right then your grades would suffer and possibly be terminated from the program. I needed the education and credentials to have a career in helping children and families. My husband Bryce, when I was so discouraged and disillusioned, reminded me that was the very reason I needed to get my degree, to be a voice for God's principles to be implemented in the field of social work. At every turn Satan has put roadblocks in my way, but God is faithful and I held to "the Lord is greater then he who is the ruler of this world". Since 1991 I have been in a struggle with the State Board of Social Workers in recognizing my two years of clinical Supervision, praise God after jumping through all the hoops and holding on to God's word does not come back void, and if we ask in the name of the Lord Jesus it will be given to us. my supervision was accepted and I could now sit for the Texas State Board of Social Work Exam for a Lisenced Clinical Social Worker. I took the 6 hour exam on Tuesday and Passed. I say a heart felt "Thank you" to all the members of Glorious Way Church who have lifted up my petition to the lord to pass the exam. For the last year my daily pray since the 08 women's retreat to Billy Brim's Prayer Conference, has been "I am anointed to be a Lisenced Clinical Social Worker as the world and church is not familiar with ALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD. Again, Thank you Pasteur Greiner and Sister Gladys for teaching the word of God so powerfully with such clear application for our daily life and attaining a closer walk with our father, the holy ghost, and Christ.

Be blessed your Sister in Christ,

The LORD desired for me and my children to go visit Glorious Way and so we followed HIM their this past Sunday, I knew of Pastor and his wife from years ago at Lakewood Church, so it was good to see them again. At prayer time I was going to get prayer for a pinched nerve in my right leg, but my 6 yr. old son Samuel wanted prayer so without me saying a word to Sister Gladys she prayed and by revelation of the HOLY GHOST she said Temperature be normal and Samuel was healed instantly. Praise the LORD! So we give thanks to God through our LORD JESUS CHRIST and thank you to Pastor Greiner and Sister Gladys Greiner and to all our brothers and sisters at Glorious Way Church,

Some encouraging words to pass along. I have been seeking employment for a while. I have worked doing temp work (January will be 10 years.) Since Larry's promotion in May, I started talking to the lady that I have worked for about full time. My hours for her were very few as companies begin to tighten their belts utilizing people within the company for their phone coverage. I had begun to cry to God in previous days saying to Him, "God if there is anybody in this city that oughta have a job it should be me. I am your daughter! Since standing up on Sunday morning my week has been booked! Glory to God!!

Hi Pastor Greiner!

Wow, I just wanted to say, the message you preached tonight (Wed. 8/12/09) TOUCHED me. Like REALLY touched me! Usually I'm blessed every week, but today was AMAZING. It was literally like a confirmation.

This morning I watched a talk show that Tyra Banks hosts and the topic was " Are Gays and Lesbians the New Black?" They were trying to compare being GAY AND LESBIAN to being an African-American! Simply ridiculous. It had something to do with minorities being discriminated against. I mean, a person can stop being homosexual, but they CANNOT stop being "black"!

So, the singer Sam Harris (who is also gay) was talking about how he advocates for gay rights. He said religion had a lot to do with why people are against gay marriage. Then there was this woman, an AFRICAN-AMERICAN woman who strongly supported gay rights and she was literally BASHING the Bible! She said something about people shouldn't follow everything the Bible says. I was in complete awe. I couldn't believe that came out of her mouth. Think of how many people were watching that! Then as the show ended, I was OUTRAGED. At the devil! But as the day wore on, I started to forget about it. Then a couple hours before church, Eunice Dadebo updated her Facebook status talking about how all those people who supported gay rights and those who were gay are going to have to stand before God and will be held accountable for all the choices that they made, and what not. Then some guy comments on it saying that she was disrespecting gays and that she should watch what she says because she will lose respect from others. Then that's when the anger built up in me again. I commented on it and said a lot of things, haha but I mostly pointed out that we ALL should not care about gaining or losing respect JUST to please others. We should stand up for what's right and...cry out against evil! So Eunice and I were having a conversation later, and we were talking about how our church is an AMAZING church with an AMAZING Pastor! You does not beat around the bush or say things to please people. If someone gets offended or disagrees, then go ahead and leave! You are very straight forward, and I LOVE it! People today need the TRUTH! But anyways, a couple hours later at church, guess what you preached? EXACTLY what had just occurred that day! It just BLEW my mind. It was God confirming: We as Christians should NOT be ashamed, and we should stand up for what's right! No matter what! Before, I would have just said "Oh, I don't agree with that." then move on, but after tonight, I'm going to be BOLD and fight for what's right! I'm only 14, and I feel like I've learned SO much already! No telling what I'm going to know when I'm 16, 18, and 20! I'm just so excited because God keeps revealing new things to me, and I just want to say THANK YOU! For not trying to please anyone, or trying to "protect us" by not telling us the whole truth, and just EVERYTHING you do because you are really blessing my family and me and everyone else in the congregation! I am SO grateful to have a wonderful Pastor like you! Really! I can't wait to see what God's going to do in my life now, as I become more and more equipped! :).

When Pastor prayed for people to get a job, Cliff went down for prayer and got one the next week. He was suppose to be off on most Sunday's but has had to work nearly every one since he started. Including Wednesday's. Yet, we praise the Lord for this job in which we know that God's hand was in it. It was suppose to be part time but he has worked their full time shift after he was trained.

I think Pastor discerned the word cyst or tumor about seven weeks ago in one of our night services. I had a Ganglion Cyst (tumor) on my right thumb, where it bends. The doctor said I would have to have it removed through surgery. It had started to grow and was very noticeable, plus painful when I would write. After Pastor prayed for me I would "Thank the Lord," dailey for my healing. I noticed it was disappearing more every day, until it was gone. This truly is a "Miracle", because I have had surgery twice to have two removed. One in my twenties off my back and one on my wrist in 2005. The latter surgery cost $ 2600.00 without adding medication and therapy. Not only did the Lord save us some money but me some pain! I thank God for our Pastor who allows the Lord to have His way in our services. It is so important for the Gifts of the Spirit to move esp. to discern when we need healing.

One more testimony! When my husband died in 2005, we had some Credit Cards I couldn't pay. One company sued me after three years, adding on interest and late charges summing up a grand total of almost $ 14,000.00 plus $ 3,200.00 for attorney's fees, stating with additional contingent amounts in the event of appellate proceedings. I had Pastor pray over those papers and then laid them on the alter in our Prayer Room. I didn't go to court because I knew they could file a judgement on my house because it is paid for. I was sent a copy of the court order stating that they put it off for a year. In June 2009 I was sent a copy of the court order which stated:

Please be advised that on May 20, 2009 "ORDER OF "DISMISSAL" FOR WANT OF OPRESECUTION WAS GRANTED."

I haven't heard from the other creditor's either. Prayer with faith can change any circumstances. Thank God for a church with Corporate Prayer and Pastor's who give the Lord a chance to change our lives through prayer.

& Mine,

Don't Give Up On "CRYING OUT" For Your Seemingly Lost Wages.
I'm a school teacher by trade. At the beginning of school year '07-'08, I was asked to be a mentor for a young teacher, and was told that I"ll receive a stipend of $500 at the end of that school year, to which I agreed. At the end of that school year, nobody seem to know anything about a stipend, except the teacher I mentored. She did her part turning in all the paperwork, but to no avail. In the fall of 2008, a new school year, Pastor John Greiner, my pastor, had us to \'cry out\' for our lost wages, which I did in faith, and I gave thanks to the Lord. Two or three months passed by, nothing seemed to happen. Being busy, as a teacher, it slipped my mind. Then it would come back to my memory about the promised stipend, I thanked the Lord again, but no stipend appeared. I honestly forgot all about. But one day, at the end of this school year ('08-'09), the teacher I mentored came to me and said let's try this one more time. I went to office and talk to some people, then I made a phone call to payroll. The gentleman told me that their record showed where they took the money out of the other teacher's account, but no record showed where they paid it out to anyone. The money was just hanging in limbo crying out "I need to be in Smither's account". On my recent paycheck, I was paid the stipend that was promised to me a year ago. GLORY TO GOD! So I say again: Don't Give Up On "CRYING OUT" For Your Seemingly Lost Wages.

I have testified of my favor in my job before; and this is a continuation of that blessing. A few months ago Pastor had a word of knowledge about some that needed insight to a "solution" at work or in their business. I had been working on a project in my position and although I persisted in pressing in to develop or uncover a solution, I kept running into dead ends. I went up for prayer to receive a release of ideas, concepts and insights in order to present a viable solution to the issue at hand in my job. At the time I did not realize that the direction I took to work on another aspect of the project was God. I backed away from the immediate need and redirected my efforts to a solution that solved a more basic problem. Specifically, instead of proceeding with an automated proposal management solution, I developed a custom solution to transition new customers toward an automated transition from closed sales to clients. This custom enhancement increased efficiency in the client set up process by 86% and cost the company nothing except the resource of my time.

I did not know that this would be so instrumental in establishing my value in the company. In early March the conpany I work for had another major workforce reduction. We went from a almost 200 employees to 125 employees. I was told that the management recognized my contributions to the organization and that I would keep my job. I now report to the Owner and President of the company as a Sr. Business Analyst and Administrator of our Client Relationship Management Tool. It amazes me in retrospect how the Lord directed my steps, knowing what was ahead and keeping me under the shadow of His wings. Thanks be unto God for His marvelous gifts and thank you GWC for providing an atmosphere of faith and revelation.

We have been “attending” church at Glorious Way for a while now. I filled out a card for membership but like pastor said Sunday, we would come sporadically and were not tithing regularly. The lord began to tell us very clearly that we needed to make Glorious Way our home and when pastor spoke this on Sunday it was a confirmation. A word came for on Sunday that it was going to start raining down. Also James prayed for my husband Francisco that everything that had been stolen would be restored. Well the Lords voice has been so clear to us since we heard the Dr. preach a few weeks ago. He spoke through me, for my daughter that she was to go to a specific store to get work shoes for her boss who was in need. I cried out to God that my husband too needed these shoes. I applied what we had learned praying, “God show me how you can get those boots to us.” After being prayed for my husband was adamant that we needed to sell some gold jewelry we don’t wear. I said well don’t be discouraged but take some of my old stuff too. He came home with $770. We had started the day with our checking account negative $160. I said her are your boot my love! We divided the money buy what should go to the tithes, bank, and boot money. There was $160 left over to put into the savings. My husband had cried out to God that we once were able to give so much and once able to have money saved in various places. God showed us this was the beginning of the rain, the beginning of the restoration. My daughter when to the store with my husband and as he bought his boots she pled her bosses case. She left with a brand free new pair of boots for her boss as well. Then my husband exchanged cards with the owner and we are believing that a contract may come for the owner for business from the company my husband works for, to sell boots to the workers of the company to have deducted from their paycheck. I had wanted to weep because I wanted to buy my daughter boss his boots and said Lord you know if I had the money I would meet that need; show us how we can meet that need and He did. In spite of many attacks coming against us on many levels we are full of joy and the Lord is doing so many things like this to show us this is just for a season and he has us in a time of cleansing and purification to prepare us for what comes next. We know that Pastor and Gladys love the Lord so much and that we have come found home.

I filled my taxes on April 5, 2009 and I was informed I would receive it within 10 to 14 days. When I didn't receive my returns, I contacted the IRS; I then found out they held back the returns because there were errors, which they fixed. This changed the amount I was initially going to receive, they informed me I would receive $2,000.00 more then I had expected. I give all the Glory to God.

P.S.: I would appreciate if you would not include my name and keep this anonymous.

Pastor and Sister Gladys are true blessings to the Body of Christ. We are proud members of Glorious Way Church. God, has been so good to me, and I'm thankful that the Holy Spirit has planted me in Glorious Way Church. I suffered a brain aneurysm in October of 2007. The doctor's report to my family was I was not going to live. Immediately my family began to believe the report of the Lord. My son told his sisters and niece we're not going to look to the left nor the right but were going to keep our eyes on Jesus and watch God glorify himself. They began to pray night and day seeking God's face. Two days later on Sunday my son and granddaughter came to Glorious Way and told Mrs. Gladys. She asked the church to stretch out their hands and believe God with my family. That Sunday night my diagnosis changed. Miraculously the doctor's said I was strong enough for surgery. After surgery I suffered some minor strokes.

I'm believing God, for complete restoration for my speech. Months later recovering at home I fell and re-aggravated the slipped disk in my back, I've been in a wheel chair ever since. I started coming to Glorious Way Church. After going up to the alter for an alter call on back problems my back was healed when hands were laid on me by Pastor Greiner, and my faith that when hands are laid on me I believe I receive. Sister Gladys picked me up from my wheel chair and said Dessie, stand up and walk. We took steps together. I've been in a wheel chair for over a year. I'm in therapy for strength in my legs. Now I have joined Glorious Way Church where the well is full of living water to drink from, with the word and the spirit. I believe in Him, I trust in him and my faith is in Him, I will never lose hope.

But he was wounded for out transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities. the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 52:5

Thank you Jesus. Last year the company I was working for closed down and filed for bankruptcy. Needless to say, this year when it was time to file our taxes, they did not provide us with our W-2. The IRS said to estimate as close as possible to figure our taxes. Upon filing my return, they sent me a letter saying that I underestimated my taxes and was going to receive a lttle less than I had calculated. Well, approximately two weeks after I received my refund, there was another deposit for the same amount of my original return. I thought it to be an error, so I just let the funds sit in my account. About a month later, I received another letter from the IRS stating that they had made an error in my original return, and that amount deposited into my account was the difference in the error. I just want to say that I truly believe in the Pastor's preaching at the beginning of the year about this being the Year of the Favor.

Praise The Lord.

I had been suffering about four months with a frozen shoulder. I had been to doctor's and still under the care of one and one more week of physical therapy. But After having mri's, x-ray's everything good with them. I was still not able to raise my left arm all the way up until I came to church week ago on Sunday night and pastor had a word of knowledge for right shoulder well it was my left but I decided to get in on it because I had put up with this long enough.. Pastor said that God would honor our faith as well and sure enough when Pastor laid hands upon me I began to raise my left as much as I could with the pain and the more I would raise it worse the pain got then it was if God took my arm and strength it out without any pain. I have been able to raise it ever since, close my car door, put my clothes on without any assistance. Praise The Lord. I am healed.

Thank God for my healing. Jesus is the healer. I also thank God for Glorious Way Church and Pastor and Mrs Glayd's. Glorious Way Church is Houston Healing Center.

May God bless you

Dear Pastor & Gladys,

I was diagnosed last June with a cyst on my thyroid. Well, as you can expect my mind went crazy with the possibilities of what could go wrong. But my mother and father agreed with me in prayer. I went to the endocrinologist this week to see if the cyst had increased in size. If was growing that would mean they would need to aspirate and test to see if it was cancerous. Well, the good news is not only has it NOT increased in size, it has decreased in size and the doctor is not worried at all about this. Praise to the Lord! He is always faiithful. It is a difficult thing when even the presence of the word cancer enters your life, but God.

Love and miss yall so much. You are a difficult church to replace.

How can I do anything but praise Him? That is what is on my mind all the time lately. I know this is true even in the hard times but I have to testify of His Goodness. I looked for a job for over a year when my husband and I decided it was time for me to get back into the workforce. My background was sales, but I wanted to pursue other roles.

After 15 months of looking for a job and a lot of prayer and "crying out" (if you don\'t know what this is, come to church at GWC), I landed a job as a Sales Support Administrator in early 2006. First Blessing - I was hired to do things that I had no idea how to do, but the VP of Sales "saw" potential in me to learn what I needed to know, and with my sales background of over 22 years, knew I could bring a fresh perspective to this position. During this time I was introduced to an online Client Relationship Management tool. I had to learn this as well as all other software on the job. I either went through help tutorials, asked my husband, or visited other sites for help; and a year later I was at the Advanced level of most of these applications. This is actually the Second Blessing - that I was able to press in and learn these tools. Turns out that I love what I do.

Third Blessing: I didn\'t see THEN how God had a plan for me to bless me in the long run and "protect our assets". My job ended abruptly due to the corporate office shutting dow the Houston office and laying everyone off suddenly - even my boss. Because of my new skill set, I had another job one week later. Three months later this company got into some legal trouble and God delivered me from the effects of this by opening another door because of the new software on my resume. I had another job before everything at the company I was with began to get really messy. Each position held more challenges and more opportunities to learn. I realized that I was pretty good at teaching myself, so I was not afraid of what I didn't know, which built my confidence. Let\'s see - that was Blessing number Three and Four and Five (who I am kidding - more like number 3,000,000).

Four months later the President of the Company I was working for was fired due to Financial impropriety. He had hired me. I had to really sell the new "powers at be" on the value of the software and thus my role there. Blessing Six - I succeeded at getting them to sign another contract with the online management tool and thus keep my position. They had agreed to keep me on board regardless however. Not foreseeing the problems that would develop in this company from the President's actions, God delivered me once again and moved me to another job. I did not even apply for these last three jobs. Each time it was as if God had picked me up and deposited me elsewhere.

Meanwhile, my income has more than doubled in less than three years. In my current role I have seen God's hand numerous times in addition to my increase in salary. After Hurricane Ike, the company\'s present financial condition worsened and many people who could not work during Ike (we were without power for two weeks) were not paid. Blessing Number 3,000,007: Favor - I received my full paycheck. I had a God idea to keep in touch with my manager and report to him the work I was doing from home. He told me later that the reason I received my full pay was that I made him aware of my efforts and offered to help in any way possible. Subsequently, the company went through a workforce reduction of almost 50% of the employees. Hard times around there for sure. However, I not only kept my job due to being an "expert" in the management software but I was moved to a better office, put under a different manager, taken out of the IT department as a Project Manager which I did not like and placed in the Operations Department where I could offer solutions that helped across departmental lines.

Recently, I finally convinced them to upgrade to a more advanced edition of the software for many benefits and features. When the President signed a $60K contract, he looked at me and said, "looks like you\ve committed yourself to another two year project". WOW. The Lord never ceases to amaze me.

I had been in Houston from May to Dec. of 2008 taking care of my mother. She had surgery in June and went to two different rehabilitation centers after that. Her final destination was a nursing home. She could no longer live alone with part time assistance and home health care services. This was very challenging for me because every nursing home facility wanted her to be qualified by the state or pay $4,000 or more up front. Pastor Greiner called me one day and asked if he could pray with me concerning anything. I told him about the situation and we both believed God for Divine intervention which I call the FAVOR of God. Today, I received an acceptance letter from the state approving her for nursing home residency and and continued benefits previously received. THANK YOU pastor.

I visited Glorious Way For the 6 months that I was in Houston. I was and still am so blessed by the presence and power of God in the services and especially the intercessory prayers on thursday evening. Never take for granted what you have there in Houston. Believe me, it's not in every city or state.

To Pastors John and Gladys Greiner, I love you and truly thank God for what He is doing in your lives. Numbers 6:23-26 is my prayer for you.

When I was pregnant with my daughter Kate several ultrasounds showed her head was not developing at an appropriate rate. Using the foundations of faith that Glorious Way laid for us, we prayed and believed God that she would be "made whole" as the scripture says. The doctors referred us to a specialist and when he did his $2000 ultrasound reveaked that her head had developed to the normal limits, Praise God! I am fully convinced that if we had not been taught our convenant through Jesus Christ we would be facing a different situation today! Our daughter is coming up on her 2 year old birthday and has absolutely no health problems as well as being smart!

My father and I have had a strained relationship for years however this past year really brought about a turn for the worse. He had decided to quit speaking to me and I didn't even realize how bad it hurt. However, God being the loving heavenly Father had already provided me a loving earthly father in Pastor John. Pastor John has always loved us like his own. Loving us, training us and even correcting us as a parent who really cares about the future of his children, helping us to be better people. Anyway, Pastor gave some simple encouragement and a warm fatherly hug and I knew I had to release my real father to God. Well, last week my father invited me over to his house and told me that he is sorry he has lived his whole life not communicating! He asked me a few simple questions about things he was mad about, I clarified how I felt and he said his whole world has changed. My father and I have another day planned coming up to "complete the good work that God has begun" and it is all to the Glory of God!! Thank you Pastor John!

A few Sundays ago there was a prophecy about asking God in faith for specific things. Well, it was funny that Ajanea and I were talking about that very same thing in the car on the way to church; the scene from "A Christmas Story" where the main character specifically asks for a bb gun. Well I asked the Lord for a certain sales figure and by the end of the day I had surpassed my quota for the day, even with over $200 dollars in return. To God be the glory!

It was good for us to partake of the Pastor's wisdom in last night's service.(Wednesday, Dec 17) I read this morning in:

Proverbs 18:4 (Amplified Bible)

4The words of a [discreet and wise] man's mouth are like deep waters [plenteous and difficult to fathom], and the fountain of skillful and godly Wisdom is like a gushing stream [sparkling, fresh, pure, and life-giving].

The anointing of God somehow increases these words in our hearts and we are changed and uplifted.

Every time we put God first, He then comes alongside us to help us with everything else we have to do.

God blessed me this Tuesday by hearing and answering my prayer concerning a difficult situation with my job. He totally diffused a difficult situation. He answered above and beyond all I could ask or think. He told me it is better to get in trouble for doing right than doing wrong. I said amen. I didn't get in any trouble at all. My boss simply asked me if I was OK and asked if my family was OK. Needless to say Wednesday night church was special for me. Another great opportunity to say "Thank You God" and celebrate the victory.

When I arrived home from work Friday, the same week, I found notice in the mail that I had recieved a sizable bonus. This is another opportunity to sow seed into the kingdom. He is so faithful to His Word. Jesus does not lose one that the Father has given Him.

While so many are going through financial challenges God is blessing me. I must always remember that I am blessed to be a blessing.

After prayer on a Wednesday night for people who need a vehicle, I was sure that God would move for my soon to be 15 yr. old, daughter.
Well, on my daughters 16th birthday, she got a car! Paid off and perfect for her.

Praise God! I attended services on Sunday eveneing when all the "drunks" were present. During the alter call Sister Gladys asked for anyone needing a vehicle, whether it be a new vehicle, repairs, or just a second vehicle to help ease transportation issues. Well, Sunday morning my truck was picked up and towed off to be repaired to have the engine replaced. I had gotten several quotes, and they told me that it would take several days and cost about fiften hundred dollars to repair. Having the funds set aside, I went ahead and proceeded to have the repairs done. When I got home there was a message from the mechanic to call him. He had to tell me something about my truck. Before I called him, I prayed about the conversation that we were going to have. Well, when he got on the phone, he told me that my truck was fixed, and running great. To top everything off, he told me that total repairs including labor was only five hyundred fifty dollars. I laughed, and he asked me what was so funny. I told him about the alter call and we both laughed. Thank you Jesus for your miracles.

Praise God ! He gave me an idea on how to invest my money for increase. Last June, I spent a day praying about my finances and specifically asked God for an open door on investing. My mother came home from work that same day and informed me about a penny stock that I should buy into. My parents have over 15 years of experience with the stock market. I have seen them loose alot of money, so I always told myself I would never invest in stock unless I knew God wanted me to. This time, however, I felt such a peace from God. I gained the knowledge I needed from my mother about the stock and how to buy it on-line. It was already a concept to her and she was my divine connection. Some people may think family is not considered a divine connection, but she has never talked to me about stocks in detail and has never advised me on buying any. This was a new kind of communication between us and she initiated it right after my time with Jesus. The Holy Spirit gave me two visions recently on when I should sell. I sold my stock at the highest peak in the last 52 months, and increased my annual income by 21%. I give glory to the Father and I thank Pastor for writing "Rise Up And Reap." The best thing is, I get to tithe and offer up more money to Jesus!

In 1997, after about 6 years of staying out of church, I found myself in Lakewood Church on a Wednsday night. God has a sense of humour because this Baptist boy always warned people away from Lakewood because they speak in tongues and are nutty. Well, here I was. Pastor John Osteen was preaching about the believer is the rightoussness of God through Christ. That is what I needed to hear. A few months later this Baptist moved into Pentecost and I was Baptized in the Holy Ghost!

When Pastor Osteen went home to be with the Lord we stayed at Lakewood for a while. Actually, we stayed for several years. Unfortunately, we felt the need to leave. My wife only started attending Lakewood with me after our marriage. She had never seen John Osteen preach.

Oh, how longed to find a church that was like Old Lakewood. This is because John Osteen preached the Word and the Holy Ghost with signs and wonders following.

We settled into a Pentecostal denominational Church. I was a leader at the Church, I preached when the preacher was out of town. I taught Sunday School. But, I grew dissatisfied at the lack of moving of the Holy Ghost and preaching of the New Covenant.

A friend of mine asked me if I knew anything about Glorious Way. I told them I would check it out and let them know. I went to the website and saw Pastoer Greiner was ordained by Pastor Osteen. This immediately made me go, "mmm."

Just like I did in 1997 I visited on a Wednsday night. Just like then I immediately felt the presence of the Holy Ghost and recognized the anointing on Pastor Greiner and the his lovely wife, Sister Gladys. Her compassion is infectious.

I was sold. I just wish I had found Glorious Way years before.

The first time my wife visited with me she was healed of a neck injury sustained in a car wreck. Praise God.

The staff at Glorious Way have always been gracious when we have called with prayer requests. The prayers of the Church were felt when my wife recently lost her father.

My son, who is recovering from autism according to Mark 16:18, loves the worship and loves to hear Pastor Greiner preach. My other two children do as well.

My wife and I are learning the Word.

I have an evangelistic ministry and told Pastor Greiner that God has called me to plant a church. I believe he has connected me with Pastor Greiner to learn how to Pastor, feed the sheep, and how a Church should be run.

I know this is long so I will wrap it up by saying I am so thankful to be a member of Glorious Way, I love the Pastor and his wife, and know God is going to use Glorious Way to reach Houston, the state of Texas and the world.

In Christ,

I have so much to say, that I don't even know where to begin. I guess, that I should start off by saying that I was diagnosed with CHF (Chronic Heart Failure) three times within six months. My physician could not determine why my heart was weakening or performing to the capacity that it should have. Having been diagnosed with CHF, this caused my body to retain a lot of fluids which surrounded my heart and caused me to have difficulty breathing and walking because my legs would swell and hurt when I walked. I was sent to a heart specialist to have more extensive tests run. He also could not determine the cause of my CHF. As a result of my CHF, I was having problems sleeping through the night. I would wake up every two to three hours gasping for air. I would turn on my television and think that it would calm me down and put me back to sleep. As I flip through the channels, the same comercial would come on every time I would turn on my television. I didn't pay any attention to it at first, but then I started listening because I had been looking for a church to call home. As I continued searching, my symptoms would come and go, off and on. Recently, my divorce became final, and in that same week the company that I was working for closed their doors, without notice. I showed up for work only to get told to go home. In my divorce, I got custody of my children, and thought now was the oppurtune time to get back into the church, and get the children involved. Matthew, my eldest son, and I visited a couple of different churches to see what they had to offer. I told Matthew about my morning viewings of Glorious Way, and he said that we should check them out. On August 6, we attended the evening service for the first time with my sister-in-law, Lisa. Upon entering the facilities, Matthew told me right off the bat, "Dad, this is our new home. This is th right place for us to be." Not wanting to jump the gun, I told him to wait and let's make sure before we make any decisions. We returned on Sunday morning, and truly enjoyed the service and message that Ms. Kunneman gave. Matthew was excited about going to youth services only to be disappointed because youth services are only on Sunday night. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend Sunday evening. But during Sunday morning services, Lisa's three younger children went to Sunday school and had an exciting time. Sunday school was all they talked about for the rest of the day. On Wednesday, we returned for evening services, and this time we even had Lisa's husband attend with us. This time when I walked in, I told Lisa that it was time, and she looked at me with this look like, "What are you talking about?" I told her it was time to make a committment, and she agreed. We prepared our commitment cards, and the service began. Low and behold, what was the message of the evening? Commitment! I looked at Lisa, and laughed. At the end of service Lisa headed towards the altar, and I asked her where she was going. She told me that it was time to meet our spiritual father and future family. When we met Pastor Greiner, I shook his hand, and a chill went through my whole body. I told Lisa about my experience, and told her that we have truly indeed found our new home.

I just want to say that the Lord works in mysterious ways. As I started off saying, I was diagnosed with CHF. Since having attended Glorious Way, I have not had any difficulty breathing, my limbs have not swollen to where I have not been able to walk, and I have not had any problems sleeping through the night. I began worrying about finances since losing my job. Today, Thursday, August 14, 2008 I gathered enough money to go and pay one of my bills that was past due. I entered the business, and told them that I was in to make a payment. They looked up my account and told me that my account was no longer active. I asked them to double check, and they told me that my account was paid in full. With the way everything has been going I can only expect greater things to come. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for me next. I have been actively searching for a new job, but none have been what I was looking for. I believe that the Lord will guide me to the right job in due time so that I may accomplish everything that he has in store for me to do.

Ajanea and I both felt impressed to go on the youth trip so she and I both made arrangements at our jobs to attend. Two weeks before camp my job told me I would not be able to use my vacation time and not get paid for the days absent from work. Ajanea and I both knew that this was an attack of the enemy, and we both decided to sow the time as a seed. We knew that sowing in the form of obedience and faithfulness would help to release some our requests from our red envelope. Today we are thanking God for 3 of those answers!

Last week I received a $1,000.00 dollar check in the mail from my homeowners insurance company.

About a year and a half ago, my washing machine flooded my house due to a defective part. My adjuster said they had had 23 similar claims in the last few years. So they submitted my part with the others to the manufacturer to get their money back.

Well, the naysayers said I would never see the money even if they did settle, but God!! I knew I would because I have been crying out for my finances, and lo, and behold, I got my 1,000.00 dollar deductible back!!! Praise be to God!!

FYI, I have already submitted my tithe to my church who taught me to cry out for my finances!!

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Glorious Way for allowing our youth to attend the C4C rally in Branson, MO. Thank you to Sophie, Jay, Selena, Steven, Ajanea, Stan and Linda for sharing the experience with our children! I know that everyone received a special touch but I do have to share that our daughter, Heather, is on Fire and we love it! She has been to many other events similar to this, but it seems that this rally has definitely made an impact in her walk with the Lord. Please join us in prayer that the youth will continue to carry this annointing throughout the school year and share what they have witnessed with many others. WooHoo!

We love you!

Praise the Lord!!!
I recently started attending Glorious Way (I've only been there twice) and I have already received a blessing! I have been out of work for 3 months and have been searching and searching on my own and through an agency. I went on many interviews but the jobs always went to someone else. I attended Glorious Way July 13 and I went back on July 20 and had requested prayer for an interview I had just gone to on Friday. On Monday, July 21, I went on another interview and I thought it went well (I thought the others had gone well as well so I wasn't too hopeful). I was working with an agency who got me the contact and I received a call from them Tuesday morning saying that I had gotten the job I had been to on Monday! The agency was going to negotiate the salary and I received the call this afternoon that it was approved! I start work on August 4th. I've also been praying for my finances because I don't receive my first paycheck until the 14th and I have two truck payments and utilities bills that haven't been paid. I know I just need to keep praying because God has already answered one of my prayers.

I was involved in a car accident in August of 2006. Since that time I had been in therapy off and on for neck and shoulder pain and tension. I had been prayed for by Pastor John and received relief from the tension which had built up in my neck and shoulders from working with computers on a day to day basis.

In completion of that miracle, I was prayed for by our local evangelist, Dr. Gary Wood, who filled in for our pastors who went on a wedding anniversary trip.

That Sunday, Dr. Wood called anyone who had back pain. He told us to lay on the floor on our stomachs . He proceeded to place his foot on each of our backs as the Spirit of God had told him. I received my healing that very hour. Since that day I have had absolutely no pain or stiffness in my neck and shoulders.

I give God all the praise and the honor. I am so thankful that I attend a church where the miracles of God are still in operation today.

I was humbled that pastor would share my career struggles as an example of perceverence with the church. Though I had several offers for salary above $200,000 if I left the state, I did not feel the release from the Lord to leave Houston and definitely not to leave Glorious Way Church. I knew that if I honored my commitment to GWC to serve my pastors and staff, to tithe and to listen for the Lord to lead, He would come through. Well, today I received the official job offer for my new position and not only did they restore me to my original job grade but they also threw in a $300 per month raise! This is after my current department ( the one that told me to just leave) had denied me a raise or bonus for 2 1/2 years. I had not even accepted my new position and I already received more of raise that I got in two and a half years! The Lord is AWESOME beyond our imagination. Jesus does care about our daily lives and He does care about our finances. Cry out, it works. Now I will cry out for the restoration of all the money I was cheated out of over the past three years and for a salary the likes of which I was offered if I left the area.

Praise the Lord,,

Yesterday 7.15.08 I was boiling eggs and I left the stove on high, I went to go sit on the couch drinking a smoothie when I looked to my right and there was a flame all the way from my stove to the top of the cabinet above the microwave above the stove. The stove was on fire, I cried out "oh my God, I am going to burn down the kitchen" I ran without thinking I picked up the pot by the handle not thinking that it would be hot, but to my surprise it was cold and immediately after I picked up the pot of boiling eggs ,water was sprayed on the flame and completely put it out in one shot. I was stummed and I looked under the microwave to see if it has a hidden water spraying device, I looked at my sprinklers and they had not turned on but yet there was a puddle of water by the stove where I was standing, the smoke alarms went off but there is no explaination for the water except that God put the flame out for me, there was no damage to my kitchen or stove it was like the fire was never started. I immediately realized that it was supernatural and I called my friends to tell them about it, I have been talking with God alot lately about his Glory and I guess this was one of his manifestation of his glory.

God Bless you, Ofelia

I happened to call my friend, Pat Howard, the day before her back surgery. I asked to pray for her and she said yes. I began to pray for the doctors and nurses and God's protection for her from all harm. Then this popped out: (not the usual for me) “The hand of God is on you for good!”

Two weeks later, we talked and she said was doing great and that the pain which had been constant since her fall was now completely gone and she was recovering very nicely.

Praise God! Then a week later, I was reading in Ezra 8: 22 “The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him.” I thought that was amazing!

Be Blessed!

My most recent testimony was about a 65% increase in pay in my new job. I was a contractor on this job however with no benefits and a contract end date of 6.20.08. There were options at the end of the contract of course and the one I was counting on was that the company would hire me full time. Three weeks ago my contract ended and the company expressed an interest in hiring me if I was interested in staying. Then there were delays, and more delays, until the staffing company said they were going to terminate my employment due to unpaid fees by my company.

David and I cried out to the Lord. We wanted His will and we wanted "no gap in employment or pay".

I received a job offer on Friday, 7.11.08. The offer was for the same amount of money I was making on contract, plus full benefits. He also added in an extra week of vacation effective immediately (instead of after 90 days) for my hard work over the last 5 months. My boss is the VP of Information Technology. He said that he went into his meeting with three contract-to-hire proposals, and only walked out with a signature on my offer.

One other note: I have "outlived" 4 employees at my company, 2 Vice Presidents who were sponsors of my project and 2 other staff members. All 4 of these individuals gave me a hard time in one way or another by criticizing my work, or were speaking negatively about me or the progress on my project. Draw your own conclusions.

Great is HIs faithfulness!

The Lord DOES care about our finances. A year ago, during morning prayer, the Lord gave me a price and a date and told me to exercise stock options that my company had granted. The stock was not trading anywhere close to the price He gave me so I backed off $1 per share and placed a sell order. On the date the Lord gave me in prayer, the stock shot up and actually exceeded the price He had given me by a few cents. By the end of the day the stock was back down and did not reach this level again for quite some time. If I had only done exactly what the Lord spoke I could have made an additional $1300.

Two months ago the same thing happened. I was praying over finances and the Lord gave me a price and a date. Once agin the price was well above where stock was trading so, I once again backed off of the price and placed the order. Just as before, the price shot up on the date and went above the price He gave me. The price then went way down and is still trading 10-12% below where I was able to sell.

I have learned that the Lord does care about our finaces and He will give us ideas, concepts and insight. I have also learned that when the Lord speaks, LISTEN! I still have some work to do on following through when the Lord speaks. I need to do everything, exactly as He speaks it.

Tonight Wednesday, June 25, 2008 we went to Bible Study at our church Glorious Way Church. Pastor Greiner taught an awesome message and as always we were blessed. One of the things he said…and I heard him say it before but this time it really stood out “God has already done everything He’s going to do!” “We have to appropriate what He has done by faith”. In that moment I saw my house as I was sitting in church…. and I appropriated the blood of Jesus over my property from all harm and danger for my family and me. Well church was over and the children and I drove home… it only takes us about 2mins to get home. Our daughter Amira had our son Aaron-Christopher’s little hand held game. He asked for it but she didn’t want to give it up… lol… he let her keep it. In that moment I heard the Holy Spirit say “watch her with that game” and I immediately saw her drop the game in the spirit…. And sure enough she did drop the game and I watched her just as the Holy Spirit said. GLORY! Just as she went to pick up the game there was a brown SNAKE right there next to the game! I was able to grab her back and watch the snake slither away. GLORY! GLORY! GLORY! Thank God for the rhema of the word we just heard!!!! I don’t know what kind of snake it was but it was as long as from my ankle to my knee and about as big around as two of my fingers. Praise GOD for his ABSOLUTE PROTECTION! We are defiantly unquestionably free from harm and danger. Thank You JESUS your blood is truly enough!!!!

Our daughter Billie gave birth to Michael Wayne Heinrich on Wednesday, June 18. He weighs 4 lb 7 oz and 18 1/2 inches long. Both mother and baby are doing great. It was an early delivery by C section.

Thank you so much church family for all your prayers. We thank God everyday for sending us to Glorious Way Church. What an awesome God we serve.

On May 17th, 2008, I had gone to a local Home Depot store in Wiliamsville, NY to buy a few things to fix my home before putting it up for sale. I drove with my youngest daughter, Victoria. As we were approaching the house, I suddenly had an uneasy feeling in my gut. While unloading the items from the mini-van, I could no longer bear the urge to pray. I told Victoria I had to go inside the house and promised to explain later on. I quickly picked up a bible and opened up Isaiah 54:17. I started confessing the Lord's divine protection over me and my family for a few minutes and then began interceding, not really knowing what I was praying for. A few minutes later, the "burden" was lifted and I explained to my wife, Mina, what had happened. About an hour and half later, my oldest daughter, Grace, came home and right at the door, she started telling us how close she came to being hit by another car. Being a new driver, it was the first time she had to slam the breaks extremely hard in order to avoid being hit by another car. The other driver was not paying attention while making a lane change. She looked shaken by the event and one could tell from the sound of her voice. As she was talking, I looked at my wife and we both said "that was it!". Thank God for his divine protection. He caused me to pray ahead of time and prevented what could have been a horrible accident. God is good ALL the time.

On Sunday May 4th, I went up to the front when Pastor mentioned that the week of May 5 would be a great week for changes in employment for the unemployed and underemployed. I was underemployed, worked in a hostile environment and was doing the work of two people. I had an interview set for May 5 at 10:15 am with the Payroll Supervisor and I was applying for the Payroll Specialist position. I went on my interview and was told that there would be 3 other candidates yet to interview and I would hear something the next week. I told myself but Pastor said this week so I will wait and see. On Wednesday the 7th I was called in for a 2nd interview this time with the Comptroller and it was set for Thursday the 8th at 8:00 am. When the interview was coming to an end I asked how many more would be interviewed and she said I was the only one she was going to interview and that she would discuss it with the Supervisor and then contact my recruiter since I went through a staffing firm. Well that evening around 5:30 pm they called to offer me the job. The pay scale for this position was ____. I was offered ____(well above that). I was making _____(about same amount of new offer) and driving 30 miles one way. Now I will be driving 13 miles one way. I will save $21 a month on parking, not to mention the savings on gas. I will get free medical (Blue Cross & Blue Shield) and free dental. There is a state of the art work out facility with a personal trainer available to the employees. Stocked kitchens with different beverages and snacks and sometimes lunches too. And if all this wasn’t enough the company believes that all employees should share the bonuses not only management. So I will also receive quarterly bonuses equal to 10% of my salary. So I just received a 40% raise. God is awesome, I feel so blessed to be part of this Church. So Pastor I was meant to be there last Sunday to take that prophetic act of visualizing the closed door opening it and walking through it. I would have never imagined such great blessings. This is really more, so much more than I had asked for. I can’t wait to start my new job on the Tuesday after Memorial Day, May 27th.

It was during march 2008 that I received text message from my nephew to be praying for my niece chenoa. She had been a serious accident on her new bike away at a camping trip. I called my brother in law, her dad and he said she was being life lighted to Austin Dell's medical center. So I threw my laptop in my bag, and headed up to Austin, my hopes where that it would not be that serious, but it was. She had suffered a 6 inch crack in her skull, shattered right eye socket, and 2 broken arms on the initial report. Then I called my brother, and he repeated to me what he has been taught and what we have said over and over again. Is that we either believe that healing is the childrens bread or we don't. WE DO, by the way. So I left the emotional blubber state and began to speak God's word and plead (albeit not necessary to plead for what is allready promised) and so then I went on to begin to praise and thank him for what God was going to do. I knew that there was a sense of urgency to the situation, in my spirit the Lord told me that he had rescued her from death. I knew in the natural the situation seemed impossible, If she where to live would she have motor function, etc.. Well when I arrived at Austin she was in surgery for about 6 hours and I found every quiet corner in that hospital to pray and proclaim God's word. I was talking that evening and I began to recap, the events with my brother in law (the father). He told me of all that God had allready done on their behalf and how perfectly, God was putting things in order and protecting her.
1. To start with there was somebody there right away who loaded her into the vehicle, had she not have been loaded by regulation the ranger would have not allowed her to be moved. But because she was allready loaded, the ranger escorted her directly to the local hospital in the small town about 90 miles outside of austin. Needless to say this saved a lot of precios time.
2. Everybody at small hospital immediately tended to her, and the nurse wanted them to come in say "GoodBye", her parents as well being spirit filled believers had a sense of righteous anger rise up and they opted not to say "GoodBye", but stand on God's word and proclaim his word over the situation.
3. My sister took the seat from the co-pilot later she informed me that she had never felt God's presence, so much before as she did during that life flight. She arrived at Dell medical center a new childrens facility. God in a series of perfect things made way for her by relieving pressure on her brain, the crack in her skull allowed the spinal fluid to leak out of the ear which had that not of been the case it would have killed her in about an hour, or caused serious brain damage.
4. So after the evening they moved her to ICU at about 9:00 pm, I was able to go in and see her and yes, if I had thought of it just in the natural, I would have been a complete reck. But needless to say, I never knew anyting more in my life than just a simple peace that came to me that evening because God's word is true.
5. The next day we got to the hospital, so I spent as much time as possible in the room praying in tongues and with an attitude of expectation. And it was later and somewhat exhausted, as I was praying I felt the Lord tell me to hang on a little later so I could witness a miracle. Then around 7:00 pm she woke up and we asked her to move her hands and wiggle her toes, she was able to and her brother asked her about something from before the accident and she noded her head in agreement.
6. The next day after that the nurses began trying to set "expectations" for my Sister and Brother on what to expect when she came too. Slurred speach, nemory loss etc... So the next day when she woke up, her memory was recalling things perfectly at her speech like nothing had ever happened.
7. So Sunday afternoon I headed home from Austin, namely I wanted to go to church and praise the Lord for all he had allready done. So I took the latest "laundry list" of things up for prayer that Sunday evening. So that her vertebrate would heal correctly (saving a spinal fusion) and the spinal fluid would stop leaking out of her ear. Gladys stood in agreement, if you have not noticed a pattern yet :-) the vertebrate healed nicely and the spinal fluid that was leaking out of the ear.
8. As well everyday I was astonished by how quickly the swelling went down every day of course the broken eye socket in the right eye held on long enough for the reactivation of the left eye, the eye that she had gone blind in due to a stigmatism. That was on my red envelope list :-), a prayer list I had submitted months back.

We serve an awesome God with such an amazing bounty of love, healing and prevision for his children. His goodness truly knows no bounds, His word TRUE. I know because I had a front row seat for all His goodness and promises nealed down holding the casted fingers of my niece praying in the Holy Ghost. Praise the Lord, Praise the name of Jesus his word reigns TRUE :-) !!!

This past week I had taken my mother to the doctor and while we were in the office a policeman comes in and reports a PT Cruiser has a flat! Well it was mine and it was very bad, bottom line: after a series of events I got a real good price on a new tire and God had spared me from having a major blowout on the freeway with my elderly mom in the car!
My sister and I took my Mom out on Saturday for Mother's Day at a nice restaurant. While there a lady at a table near us kept asking us questions and I kept answering. I got to witness to her, so she heard the Word and my testimony of Jesus.
When we asked the waiter for the check he said it was all taken care of, that someone had paid our entire bill! I turned to where the lady sat with her back to us. "You paid the bill, didn't you?!" She did not say a word and I lay my hand on her back and she let me hug her and then I prayed over her. It was so awesome! God really gave us extravagant favor!

Five years ago, when my daughter, Kristin Lester, gave birth to her son ,Andrew, she also found out that she had developed a virus which had cause her heart to be enlarged. The first signal that something was wrong was 3 days after the baby was born, her heart started to beat 212 beats per minute. After a series of tests they implanted a defibrilator in order to shock her heart back into a regular beat - should it ever get out of control again. They told her that she would be weak, breathless, and not be able to do all the things she always had. But - PTL - three years went by and she was carrying her now 3 year old up stairs and not exhibiting any of the symptoms the doctors said she would have.

Then, in February, 2006, we got a call that she had a heart attack. The doctors put a stent in, told her it was because her heart was so flabby that blood was getting stagnant in the chambers and throwing off clots, and told her to contact Dr.s who performed transplants. We all heard that as "someday", not NOW.

When she got home from the hospital, fluid began to build up and made her very miserable. It was apparent that she needed more attention. When the Dr. saw her, he immediately sent her to ICU, where she walked in and laid down, hoping for some releif. Less than 12 hours later, the call came that all parents dread. The hospital was calling - Come right now or you will be too late.

What a drive! Three hours in the car with the Lord. Ron Kenoly singing "Whose report do you believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord." The devil flashing pictures in front of my eyes of her in a coffin. And Paster Greiner's message - This is a Glory Year! Each time the picture would come, I'd meet it with "No, That cannot happen, This is a glory year, and the picture would fade. Finally, I was able to get above the fear and place my trust in Jesus alone. No one was calling me about what was happening, so I had to wait till I got to Austin to find out that when the pictures were flashing before my eyes, Kristin had flat-lined 5 times.

Her father was at her bedside praying while this was happening and Jesus appeared to him, saying "She's in my hands now". That brought a flood of peace to him and somehow he knew that everything would be all right.

The doctors put a balloon pump inside her heart and were able to stabilize her and ready her for transport to Seton, a transplant hospital. By the time I got to Austin, I drove directly to Seton where the family was gathering. The transplant team sat with us for a couple of hours explaining what was going to happen. First, they were going to install a VAD, a ventricular assist device, and later, she would be placed on the transplant list.

The VAD is an external heart, strapped to one's belly and hooked by electrical cables to a power source about the size of a washing machine. She survived the surgery, but several days later, the computer on the machine said there was a problem. The soulution was to break her sternum again and check to see if there were any clots. We prayed and prayed. They took her to surgery and came out a bit later saying the minute they put her to sleep the computer righted itself, so they decided to remove the drain lines instead. They said it would be 24 hours before she recovered enough to talk, but 4 hours later she was chatting on the phone with friends.

Kristin fervently believed that she would receive her transplant before they sent her home. However, she was scheduled to go home with the VAD and the power source which had been reduced to batteries in a suitcase. This, of course, was her only way of having a beating heart, so she would have to take the suitcase everywhere. My fear was having a 3 year old boy and critical cables attached were an accident waiting to happen. Preparations were made for going home, the hospital contacted the local EMS, the power company - in case of outages and everything was set.

Then, the call came. Seventeen days after being placed on the list, a heart was available. One week later - Kristin walked out of the hospital to go home. Her first "heart anniversay" was to have a big party and play ball at the park. Two years in - she has had no rejection, her med's have been greatly decreased, and she is an active soccer mom. She was honored at the 2007 Heart Walk in Austin, and the Lord is opening opportunities for her to speak to doctors, nurses, and will speak in May at the American Heart Association Gala. She ministers to those waiting for transplants or VAD's and to those who have received them. She has been featured in several commercials for Seton Hospital and was on TV recently telling her story during donor awareness month.

The miracles?
1) It was a miracle she was in the hospital at that moment
2) It was a miracle that the right Dr was there at that moment
3) It was a miracle that the right equipment was there at that moment
4) It was a miracle that Jesus showed up and spoke to her father!!!!
5) It was a miracle that she lived in Austin. They had just moved the year before. The Dr's said if she had been in Houston, she would probably have had to wait a year before a transplant was available.
6) It was a miracle that it was 2006. The Dr's said that 5 years before, they did not have the technology to keep her alive on the VAD so long.
7) It was a miracle that they didn't have to do a second surgery and were able to take the drain lines out while she was asleep.
8) It was a miracle because the Spirit of God was so strong in her room that later, nurses made the 30 mile trip to her home to tell her that the nurses were coming into the room to get filled up with the Spirit (many were spirit filled and belonged to her church).
9) It was a miracle that the heart came just before she had to go home with the VAD.
10) It was a miracle that the family had a peace that passed all understanding throughout the ordeal.
11) It is a miracle that she is now healthy, and strong. She walks, swims, and is considering doing a Triatholon.
12) It is a miracle that God is using her to further His kingdom in such a public way.

It was the prayers and support of Glorious Way Church that helped turn the tide and brought my beautiful daughter back to me - better than new!! Thanks!

Sheila Sutton called the church today excited to report that she's been appointed as a Director within a major direct-selling cosmetic company. It has been at the top of her prayer list since the beginning of the year, and she says it has happened just in time. No stranger to hard work and achievement, Sheila has been working nights and weekends over and above her day job as a dietary manager for a nursing home. "Faith requires an action!" she says. "I did what I had to do, and it paid off." Of everything, Sheila says she is most excited about the opportunity to lead other women, training them and giving them confidence as they launch their own home-based businesses.

I had been suffering with a hernia for about 3 or 4 months. The doctor did not prescribe me any medication for it he just told me that it was not that serious and I just had to live with it. Of course I did not receive that so every day I begin to confess that Jesus you are my healer, Jesus you are my healer. Pastor Griner had a word of knowledge concerning hernia. At the time I was out in the lobby closing up the media center when my husband sent someone out to get me. Hands were laid on me and I could not get up off the floor. I laid there and told God I have to get up now but every time I tried getting up I felt this heavy weight on me, so I continued to lay there. By the time I got up I knew I had received my healing. I know longer wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air because of the acid coming up and choking me. I also no longer feel the burning sharp pains in my upper stomach. Praise God Jesus did it. He is my personal healer.I give Glory to God for my Pastors and Glorious Way Church.

I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia in December of 2005. Because of the tear between my stomach and esophagus I was told by my doctor that I would have to take a pill everyday for the rest of my life to reduce the acid my body produces. The tear allowed the acid juice to travel up my esophagus. The medicine kept the problem under control until recently. I was having a lot of pain and discomfort for about three weeks when Pastor had a word of knowledge that God wanted to heal someone with a hiatal hernia. Pastor described the inflammation and knew that I had been running a low grade fever from the acid burning. When hands were layed on me I received the power of God to heal me. I have not had anymore swelling, pain, burning, or fever. I also have stopped taking the medicine with no returning symptoms. Thank you, Jesus.

We began attending Glorious Way when J. Elliot Jr. was only 6 months old. After nearly becoming divorced, God has renewed our family - not restored to what once was, but literally renewed to something greater.

On Friday, March 21, 2008 our 2 year old son began vomiting. It carried over through the night and onto Saturday. By Saturday evening, J. was lethargic, dehydrated, he stared and his eyes were glazed over and he drooled uncontrollably as he was unable to swallow his own saliva. He had no fever, but had a fine rash covering his body and was all around not himself. Prior to taking him to the Emergency Room that evening, Margaret prayed for a correct diagnosis, no long wait in the ER, and that every cell within J. Elliot's body would line up with the established Word of God.

When we arrived in the ER that Saturday night, there were only 3 patients ahead of us. J. still did not have a fever. The nurse gave him Tylenol anyway, he fell asleep and his throat swab results came back in 30 minutes. No strep infection - he was diagnosed with a sore throat. Despite not having strep, the ER physician gave a prescription for an antibiotic and sent J. home.

J. Elliot Jr. awakened Easter morning - Sunday, March 23, 2008 - jumping up and down singing, "BY STRIPES, I HEALED!" We speak the Word every night after J's bath as any dry spots on his skin are lotioned. He remembered and repeated all morning that "BY STRIPES, I HEALED." And healed he is - he later asked for pancakes, sausage and eggs and the grandparents delivered, and then some! Praise God that His Word WILL NOT return unto Him void - but it truly does PROSPER in the thing where unto it was sent! God's Word prospers in the Howard Family!
